We brew our vintage beers the same way every year and age them under the same conditions – yet each vintage develops its own unique character.

These lightly hopped Barley Wines offer subtle liqueur-like qualities with distinctive notes of Cognac, making them the perfect beers for long-term cellaring in a cool, dark place.

Their complex aroma is created through an extended fermentation using three different yeast strains in open fermentation vessels, followed by more than a year of maturation in old French Cognac barrels. The unique climate and the almost mystical atmosphere of our 300-year-old barrel cellar undoubtedly play their part.

Each vintage is produced in strictly limited quantities, making these beers highly collectible from the very beginning.
